You're at the journal of (Anthony Swan.)

I loved LiveJournal once. We were inseparable. We even almost
got married, a long time ago. Now I can't stand to look at
her, knowing what's she's done. And likewise, I don't
think she'd ever forgive me for the things I've done
with Facebook. But you never forget your first love,
and every day my thoughts draw inexorably closer to
the moment I can smell her sweet scent again...

A few of my INTERESTS:

1. COMICS
I am a huge comic book geek. In my
small 15x10ft room I've amassed a small library
of titles from America's Best Comics to Wildstorm.
In fact, I have no choice but to be a library, because
if I stop lending out comics, I will literally have no
shelf space - not that there is any available as it is,
even with half my collection lent out.

3. GAMING
Gaming and I have had a rocky history. We were raised
together, for sure - my parents never approved of him
but he was always a stalwart friend in times of boredom.
But a few years ago, desperate for money, I ended up
selling my collection for a pittance and he seemed
cold. We still hung out, but we were re-treading the
same old topics, playing the same games with each
other, as if we got together simply for nostalgia's
sake. But recently, I tentatively bought a 360, and
it's as if things had never changed.

4. MUSIC
A painter paints pictures
on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on
silence. I love the joy it can bring on a rainy
birthday, and the relief it rewards with after the
day's done. I clumsily play guitar, and sing a
little less so.

Introduction to Infinity's Twilight:

The Universe began, long ago. Countless geological ages have passed like blinks of an eye.
Years and centuries and epochs, merely motes of dust on the road we have travelled. And
now we have arrived here, at this other end of the spectrum. The End.

The races of Humanity have risen and conquered and interbred, fallen and risen again, but
now they are diminished, their populations struck down into small, huddling numbers, living
in Machine controlled Domes that serve to protect them from the poisonous Earth that
remains outside of those prison walls. Slaves to their own creations.

Where once the Human race was proud, pioneers of their own fate, Machines have taken their
reigns by the leash and rule cold and methodically as only Machines can. Where once the
leftover energies of Creation allowed sorcery to streak unbridled across the globe, now only
the weakest shadows of the great art remain as this world comes nearing it's end.

Be you Machine, or Human, or some other force playing this last move on the last game of
this weary universe, it doesn't matter.

It's ending soon.
